Trevor Noah Mocks Trump’s Fox & Friends Interview: A ‘Sober Person’ Doing ‘Drunk History’

Trevor Noah had some fun at the expense of President Trump for his “epic” phone-in interview on Fox & Friends.

“Normally, when Trump has a bad day, we know Trump watches Fox & Friends and yells at the TV. But today, he did the same thing… but we all got to listen in,” Noah told his viewers. “And you could tell from the start that this was going to be special.”

The Daily Show host ripped the president for admitting that all he got for First Lady Melania Trump‘s birthday was a “beautiful birthday card.”

“How did Trump mess up the world’s easiest question?” Noah asked. “It’s like they threw him a softball and he swung and hit himself in the d*ck. I mean, it’s her birthday. I can’t believe that Donald didn’t get Melania anything for her birthday. Now she might think he’s not a very good husband.”

Noah mocked Trump for invoking the Civil War and how Republicans “did the thing” while discussing the support he received from Kanye West and how the GOP has helped black Americans.

“‘Republicans did the thing?'” Noah reacted. “Trump would make a dope history teacher…. Like he’s the first sober person I have heard doing drunk history. That’s amazing.”

He then showed a humorously-edited montage of Fox & Friends hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, and Brian Kilmeade being “uncomfortable” while the president ranted on various topics.

“I can safely say that I’ve never seen a news anchor try to bail on an interview with the President of the United States,” Noah laughed. “Like, how is it that he was the commander in chief, but it’s the couch people who have better things to do.”
