Trevor Noah Sums Up the Entire GOP Debate in 1 Minute

The former host of The Colbert Report and the future host of The Daily Show came together last night on CBS’ Late Show. And while he was there, Trevor Noah may have given us a preview of how he plans to cover the 2016 election when he starts his reign on Comedy Central later this month.

Asked by Stephen Colbert what he thought of this week’s second Republican presidential primary debate, Noah mostly seemed frustrated by how long it lasted. “It was three hours and ten minutes and no one said anything,” he noted.

Noah then proceeded to imitate, in his best American accent, how the GOP candidates answered — or rather, didn’t answer — whatever question the moderator happened to be asking. While he definitely has a point, Daily Show viewers are probably going to be looking for a bit more substance when he starts covering the race on September 28.
