Trump as Rally Protesters Escorted Out: ‘The Election Ended Three Weeks Ago’
A number of protesters disrupted President-elect Donald Trump‘s Michigan campaign rally tonight. Some of them spoke up while Education Secretary nominee Betsy DeVos spoke, but more spoke up as Trump himself was speaking.
At one point, when a few protesters started shouting and getting escorted out, Trump said, “The election’s over!”
He said of one of them, “That was a Bernie fan. The election ended three weeks ago, darling.”
A little later, as the president-elect continued to speak, more protesters piped up.
Trump reacted, “Where do these people come from?”
