Trump Releases First Ad Hitting Clinton For ‘Deplorables’ Remark

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump released his first ad Monday publicizing and denouncing Hillary Clinton‘s comments that half of his supporters were part of a “basket of deplorables,” accusing her of denigrating everyday Americans.

“Speaking to wealthy donors, Hillary Clinton called tens of millions of Americans ‘deplorable,’” the ad’s narration recounts.

As Clinton’s remarks calling Trump supporters “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic” play in the background, the ad showed images of multiethnic and multiracial Donald Trump supporters.

“Hillary Clinton, viciously demonizing hard working people like you,” the ad concludes.
