Trump’s Faith Director Praises Charlie Kirk Critics Getting Fired: ‘They’ve Shown They’re Evil’

White House Faith Director Jenny Korn praised the suspension of late night host Jimmy Kimmel and insisted anyone who “celebrated” the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk should lose their jobs.

Korn joined Newsmax on Thursday morning following ABC announcing the indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live! over controversial remarks Kimmel made about Kirk’s suspected shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.

Kimmel received backlash after accusing “MAGA” of doing everything they could to describe Robinson as not “one of them.” According to Robinson’s own family and Utah officials, he made a turn towards leftist ideologies in the years leading up to the Kirk shooting.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,” Kimmel said.

ABC announced the suspension after Nexstar, which owns dozens of ABC affiliate stations, said they would preempt Kimmel’s show for the foreseeable future. Federal Communications Chair Brendan Carr also publicly took issue with Kimmel and Sinclair, which owns hundreds of statements, demanded an apology.

Korn is also fully behind Kimmel’s suspension.

“I’m a conservative. I would never celebrate the death of a Democrat or a liberal, no matter what they said. But here’s the other part of it. Here’s the other part of… what I learned. There is so much love and there is so many amazing people out there who have returned to church, who started praying, who opened their Bible for the first time. So there are so many more good people than there are evil people, but now we’re on alert.”

Korn called Kimmel and others “evil” and said anyone making light of Kirk’s death should be forced out of a job.

“We know who those people are because they have told us who they are and they’ve shown their evil. And thank goodness for companies now who are firing nurses and teachers and people like Jimmy Kimmel because people should not be able to celebrate others’ deaths in a very public way and then keep their job,” she said. “So congratulations to companies in America for doing the right thing finally.”
