Violence Spreads To Tel Aviv As Bus Explosion Leaves 22 Injured
On Wednesday, CNN’s Fred Pleitgen reported on an explosion that, as of posting time, injured at least 22 people (10 were identified at the time of the initial report) on a bus in Tel Aviv, Israel. Citing local Israeli news outlets, Pleitgen said that there is concern of secondary explosions.
Later, Tel Aviv chief inspector Micky Rosenfeld offered an update on the bus explosion, sharing that authorities are currently looking for a suspect who left a bomb on the bus.
“What we know is that at least one person fled the scene, fled the area,” he said. “We’re looking into the possibility if they left by foot or possibly if they arrived here by vehicle.”
