Wallace Presses Trump on Aleppo: You’ve Said Things That Are Just ‘Not True’

trump2During the foreign policy segment of tonight’s debate, Chris Wallace confronted Donald Trump on how in the last debate, he “said several things in that debate which weren’t true.”

Wallace said that at the last debate, Trump claimed Aleppo has “basically fallen,” which is inaccurate. Trump shot back, “It’s a catastrophe… Have you seen it?”

Wallace corrected him and also added that Syria and Russia are not busy fighting ISIS, they’re bombing eastern Aleppo. He asked, “Would you like to clear that up?

Trump proceeded to say that Aleppo is a “nightmare” and said the U.S. shouldn’t be trusting rebels they can’t identify.
