WaPo Journalist Behind Bombshell New Trump Report: ‘The White House is Playing Word Games’

Immediately after National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster denied the shocking Washington Post report that President Donald Trump leaked classified intel to the Russian ambassador and Foreign Minister, one of the authors of that report stood by his story.

“Absolutely,” said Greg Miller of the Washington Post when asked if he stood behind the report during CNN’s OutFront on Monday night.

He added, “I think the White House is playing word games to try to blunt the impact of this story.”

McMaster, in his brief statement outside the White House, said, “At no time were intelligence sources or methods discussed.” Yet the Post story did not make this claim.

The Post report did claim that he made the disclosures because he was boasting about the quality of American intelligence.

“The White House hasn’t disputed any of that language,” Miller noted.
