WATCH: Fox’s Laura Ingraham Hits James Comer With a Hard Reality Check After He Calls for Biden Pardons to Be ‘Null and Void’

Fox News host Laura Ingraham questioned Rep. James Comer (R-KY) on Tuesday when he insisted that former President Joe Biden’s pardons should be voided.

Hours earlier, House Overnight Republicans released a report detailing alleged new findings in their investigation in Biden’s use of autopen — technology allowing one to apply a signature on a document without physically signing it.

Republicans have continually called Biden’s mental acuity into question, casting doubt on the validity of the various documents he signed in the final months of his presidency.

After the publication of the report, Comer declared that the pardons Biden signed before leaving office should be made “null and void.”

During an interview with Comer on The Ingraham Angle on Tuesday evening, Ingraham asked the House Oversight Committee chair if his declaration truly had any legal basis:

Well, back to that point. I want to get into specific pardons in a moment. But that’s all well and good to say they’re null and void; but I’m a lawyer, so I’m going to ask you this: is there really any legal means of challenging these pardons? I mean, I don’t see any federal court that wants to get involved in what seems to be unknowable with the president’s plenary pardon power. I, I just, I think they’re going to call it a political question and say we’re not getting involved.

In response, Comer pointed to testimonies from a former White House physician and other Biden staffers.
