WATCH: Investigators Give Press Conference Following Completion of Prince’s Autopsy

Minnesota authorities plan to address the media today amid the flurry of questions following the tragic passing of Prince.

Beyond the global outpouring of memorials and sadness, numerous rumors have started floating around with regard to the mysterious circumstances surrounding Prince’s death. As TMZ reported, sources say that prince’s death might have to do with a drug overdose he experienced in the last few days, while other indications suggest that his death came about due to an extreme case of the flu.

Police released the transcript of the 911 call that alerted them to the situation, and earlier today, the Midwest Medical Examiner announced that the finished their autopsy of Prince’s body.

The report states that the toxicology examination may require further weeks before it’s complete, but it is possible that the investigators will shed further light on the icon’s death. The presser is set to being at 4:00 PM EST.
