WATCH: John Kerry’s Full Statement Making Case for Syria Strike

Secretary of State John Kerry made a statement of support for military strikes in Syria, laying out compelling evidence that the Bashar al-Assad regime has used chemical weapons against civilians.

Calling the attacks a “crime against humanity,” Kerry confirmed that the U.S. government “now knows” that at least 1,429 Syrians, including 426 children were killed.

“The primary question is no longer, ‘what do we know?'” Kerry said. “It’s, ‘what are we, we in the world, going to do about it?'”
