WDBJ Shooting Survivor Vicki Gardner Speaks Out on Fox News

vicki gardnerVicki Gardner, the sole survivor of the horrible WDBJ shooting just weeks ago, spoke out on Fox News tonight for the first time recounting to Greta Van Susteren what happened that tragic day.

Gardner was being interviewed by reporter Alison Parker when a gunman walked up and shot at them and cameraman Adam Ward. Parker and Ward were killed, but Gardner was only wounded and survived.

She recounted the harrowing details of how she was speaking when the gunman opened fire. Gardner said she just thought to play dead and hope she wouldn’t get shot.

The gunman did shoot her in the back after she got down, but she was still alive when the police showed up. Gardner described how “silent” the killer was, and admitted she’s watched the disturbing video since then to try and piece together in her mind exactly what happened.
