West Virginia Governor Addresses RNC Alongside His Dog, Praises Trump’s Parenting: ‘Eric Trump Changed The Tire’
West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice (R) addressed the Republican National Convention alongside his pet bulldog “Babydog” on Tuesday, before telling the audience Babydog’s prediction for the 2024 election.
During his speech, Justice told the audience, “I know that a lot of you want to meet my little buddy. So, if Babydog could come on out here.”
Justice’s dog was then brought on stage and placed on a chair next to the governor.
“You didn’t really expect that, did you?” he continued. “Let me just say this. She makes us smile and she loves everybody, and how could the message possibly be any more simpler than just that?”
Justice went on to praise former President Donald Trump and his two sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, before telling a story about the time Eric Trump changed his tire.
“Now imagine this, Eric and I have been so far back in the woods on top of a mountain and I blew the tire out on the back of my 4×4, and who was under the vehicle right then? Eric Trump,” recalled Justice. “Eric Trump changed the tire. Donald Trump has taught his kids the very best.”
At the end of his speech, Justice revealed Babydog’s prediction for the 2024 election.
“Now, Babydog’s got a prediction for everybody here, and here’s the prediction,” he said. “Babydog says we’ll retain the House, the majority in the House, we’re going to flip the United States Senate, and overwhelmingly we’re going to elect Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance in November.”
Justice concluded, “And Babydog says, what is the reason that she knows why we’re going to win? And the answer is one thing. Because we’re worth it.”
