‘What Are You Talking About?!’ Tarlov Incredulous After Conservative Co-Host Asks, ‘Why Do We Need More Border Patrol?’

The Five co-host Jessica Tarlov became confused on Thursday after her Fox News colleague Jeanine Pirro questioned, “Why do we need more border patrol?”

During a debate about President Joe Biden’s visit to the southern border, Pirro asked Tarlov what Biden had told her about the migrant crisis.

Tarlov replied, “Well, he told me that we need to pass the bipartisan border deal, and you know why? Because we need things like more border patrol agents, we need a higher threshold for asylum–”

Pirro interrupted, “To let more people in? Why do we need more border patrol?”

“To stop people from coming,” Tarlov pointed out. “What are you talking about?!”

Pirro proposed that instead of hiring more border patrol agents, Biden should “build the wall, you do Remain in Mexico, and you do the Title 42.”

“I guess I was right that nothing Joe Biden could’ve said or that I could’ve said would’ve stopped you guys from doing this,” Tarlov shot back. “These are real solutions.”

Jesse Watters then broke up the argument, telling Tarlov, “Let’s keep it moving. I love you, but let’s keep it moving.”

“I’m not gonna say it back to you,” Tarlov mocked.

During a speech from Brownsville, Texas on Thursday, Biden urged Trump to help pass the bipartisan border bill, which would increase the number of border patrol agents, asylum officers, and detention facility beds.

“Here’s what I would say to Mr. Trump. Instead of playing politics with the issue, instead of telling members of Congress to block the bill, join me or I’ll join you in telling the Congress to pass this bipartisan border security bill,” said Biden. “We can do it together. You know, and I know it’s the toughest, most efficient, most effective border security bill this country has ever seen.”
