CNN Anchor Drops F-Bomb Before Realizing Commercial Break Had Ended

When CNN Newsroom was coming back from a commercial break Friday afternoon, John Berman was caught on mic finishing a sentence with the words “fucked it up.” Neither Berman nor his co-anchor Rosa Flores missed a beat getting back to the story at hand, which just happened to be about the Miami Dolphins bullying scandal.

Berman acknowledged the error on Twitter, apologizing for using “Big Papi”-level profanity on air:

UPDATE (6:20pm ET): A previous version of this story indicated that Berman directed the profanity at his co-anchor Flores. After speaking to Berman by phone, it became clear that was actually telling a story about himself. We apologize for the error. – Matt Wilstein
