‘Enough Already!’ Don Jr. Turns Against Speaker Johnson With Damning Montage About Border Security

His father may be waffling, but Donald Trump Jr. appears to have made up his mind about House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).

In a post to X/Twitter on Thursday, Don Jr. laced into Johnson by sharing a minute-long montage of the speaker talking about the importance of the House addressing the southern border. On Wednesday, after long insisting that any aid package for Ukraine and Israel must be tied to a new border security bill, Johnson decided to split up the legislation and move a separate border security bill.

Don Jr. was irate.

“Enough already!” Don Jr. wrote. “If you ever even begin to start believing anything anyone in Republican leadership tells you just watch this. Pay close attention to those that don’t seem bothered by this. They’re not our friends.”

The montage was set to Curb Your Enthusiasm theme music and included multiple clips of Johnson talking up the importance of border security.

Don Jr. is echoing the comments of other far-Right Republicans who are not happy about Johnson’s decision to separate the foreign aid package from the border security bill. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) is starting to pick up support among hardliners, meaning Johnson could need Democratic support to keep his post.

As for former President Donald Trump, he gave Johnson a full vote of confidence during a news conference with him at Mar-a-Lago last week, but seemed to back off that somewhat when asked about him on Tuesday.
