Fox’s Bret Baier Stunned By Trump’s Stamina — Asks Him ‘How The Hell Do You Do It?’

Fox News anchor Bret Baier expressed astonishment at President Donald Trump’s stamina, asking him in an interview “How the hell do you do it?”

Baier interviewed Trump in the middle of a four-day swing through the Persian Gulf region with stops in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, which was been dogged by the controversy over his eager acceptance of a $400 million “flying palace” from Qatar to serve as Air Force One.

That controversy came up during the interview, which aired on Friday night’s edition of Fox News Channel’s Special Report,

Elsewhere in that interview, Baier became just the latest reporter to marvel at the president’s schedule and suggest he couldn’t keep up with Trump:

BAIER: Welcome back to “Special Report” in Abu Dhabi, the UAE with President Donald J. Trump.

Putin doesn’t go to Turkey.

TRUMP: Yes.

BAIER: You thought about going if he was going.

TRUMP: Well, I had a problem. I mean, I consider the Middle East very important. And I had a problem because Thursday I was going to be UAE, OK, and which is where I am now. We’re going to be leaving in a few hours and I have another couple of stops.

It’s a pretty grueling schedule. A lot of people said, how the hell do you do it?

BAIER: By the way, how the hell do you do it?

TRUMP: I don’t know. I think it’s genetics. It’s good genetics. I had a father who was very strong, and I had a mother who was very strong.

BAIER: Because I’m wiped out.

TRUMP: They lived to ripe old ages, and they were great people. And it’s meeting after meeting. And not only that, it’s speech after speech.

BAIER: Big ones.

TRUMP: It’s not like — big ones. Like, last night, if you look, he got up, made a beautiful speech. Mohammed, he got up and made a beautiful speech. I wasn’t told I even had a speech to make.

So I had to make a speech off the cuff. Do you think Biden could do that? I don’t think so. Actually, it was a pretty good speech. I looked at it. It was pretty good. I didn’t know I was doing it. But it’s meeting after meeting with the highest-level people. These are great people.

They love us again. They were not feeling love at all. They were going to China. They’re not going to China anymore.
