‘I Don’t Know if the Child Is Mine’: Elon Musk Says He Sent MAGA Influencer $2.5 Million, Open to Paternity Test

Elon Musk finally addressed Monday afternoon conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair’s claims that he fathered a boy she gave birth to last fall.
Musk said he had sent the 26-year-old more than $2 million despite the fact that he had no proof the child belonged to him.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO also said he is not opposed to taking a paternity test.
Far-right social media influencer Laura Loomer shared a Daily Mail clip of St. Clair selling her Tesla over the weekend and complaining about Musk.
Loomer commented, “Gold digger and professional gaslighter @stclairashley was caught on camera outside of her ritzy Manhattan condo (paid for by her sugar daddy Elon Musk) selling her $100,000 @Tesla she said was gifted to her by @elonmusk during their romantic relationship. She said she’s selling it to make up for $100,000 in alleged cuts to her child Support payments from Elon.”
Musk replied, “I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out. No court order is needed. Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year.”
The comment was the first one Musk had made publicly since St. Clair announced last month she had given birth and named Musk as the father.
Saturday, after using the app Carvana, St. Clair offloaded a black Tesla Model S.
“I’m selling it because I need to make up for the 60 percent cut that Elon made to our son’s child support,” she said.
St. Clair was asked why she believed Musk reduced her child support and whether she viewed the move as “vindictive.”
“Yeah, that’s his modus operandi, when women speak out,” she said.
The former Turning Point USA ambassador also took a shot at Musk over the backlash to Tesla when she said the company’s cratering stock price was evidence, “I’m not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes.”
