President Donald Trump on Sunday posted a message on his Truth Social offering his and First Lady Melania Trump’s well wishes for former President Joe Biden, whose cancer was announced earlier in the day.
It was announced on Sunday that Biden is suffering from an advanced and “aggressive” form of prostate cancer.
Many politicians and figures in media and politics have shared their sympathies and hopes on Biden’s behalf. President Trump added his own message in a post on Truth Social.
“Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis,” he wrote. “We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery.”
Many other Republicans have offered their own, similar well-wishes, including both Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and former congressman Matt Gaetz, among many others.
