Aha! Leno Reveals Why Mass. Elected Scott Brown

OK. Okay. Scott Brown is very charming. Perhaps Maureen Dowd had a point when she declared he was the “fresh face and disarming underdog America’s been waiting for.” Well perhaps not waiting for exactly, but happy to have now that he’s here?

If Brown’s election last week caught you off guard last night’s Ten@Ten segment on Leno might go a long way to explaining why the people of Massachusetts were so willing to throw over health care reform: Brown is not only charming he’s very sincere. How many politicians can turn a story of childhood theft into a neat little moral lesson without sounding like some sort of slick, moralizing Eddie Haskell. His Rocky impression isn’t too bad either. Also, weirdly Leno’s parents apparently named the family dog after Brown’s father. Also? Leno should refrain from ever making jokes about the need to add an extra flap to Cosmo should he ever do a center fold. Eww. Video below.
