Authorities Respond to Plane Crash in Mexico
An Aeromexico plane went down just after takeoff Tuesday afternoon in Mexico’s northern state of Durango.

A plane crashed in Mexico earlier today and Aeromexico has confirmed the accident on Twitter.

Per the AP, the plane fell “in a field near the airport for the state capital.”
There are preliminary reports on people injured, but the governor has tweeted there have been no confirmed fatalities:
