Awesome Volcano Pictures From Past and Present

This picture was taken all the way back in 1902 at the eruption of Mount Pelee in Martinique which was actually the third deadliest volcano of all time with 29,025 deaths. It’s a pretty amazing shot especially when you consider the relative difficulty that was inherent in taking a good photograph back then.
It sure is a shame the photographer couldn’t post this on his Twitter account right away.
