‘Bachmann Abbey’: Michele Bachmann’s Family Is America’s Downton Abbey

The Bachmanns are apparently making a play to be the American version of the Crawley family from Downton Abbey. The photo below popped up on the Facebook page of Rep. Michele Bachmann’s daughter Sofia Thursday afternoon with the caption “Bachmann Abbey”:

The congresswoman and her husband, Marcus Bachmann appear in the center of the photo, surrounded by their five biological children, from left, Sophia, Caroline, Elisa, Lucas, and Harrison (with Christine Griffin). The photo is shot in a similar style to the signature Downton Abbey family portraits:

With Bachmann retiring from Congress this year, it looks like she’s got a potential reality show ready to go.
