On BET show 106 & Park this week, guest host Karrueche Tran made a joke about Blue Ivy, Beyoncé‘s young daughter. As a result, she’s reportedly been suspended from the network.
Here’s the Instagram video user cshelz220 posted with the clip in question:
People got upset at Tran for that joke about Blue Ivy’s hair (even if she did clarify at the end she wasn’t doing so with any malicious intent. And according to an Associated Press report, Tran’s been suspended as a result. BET executive Stephen Hill took to Twitter to apologize on behalf of the network for the joke:

That last tweet is presumably referring to the fact that Tran didn’t write the joke herself, which she acknowledged on her own Twitter page:

There’s also been a rumor going around this week that 106 & Park has been temporarily yanked from the air because of the joke. But show co-host Shad Moss (whom you might recognize as Bow Wow) cleared things up on Twitter:
Relax…. I just signed my contract w/ BET every tv show goes on hiatus.. We do this every fall. Gives me time to film CSI.
