Bill Maher: No One Needs Their ‘Ass Kissed’ Like the NYPD

Bill Maher returns from vacation this Friday, and if his latest tweet is any indication, the host has some things he wants to say about the behavior of many NYPD officers following the murders of Officers Liu and Ramos last month.

As award season kicks off here in H'wood I'm reminded that no one needs their ass kissed like show people! Except maybe the NYPD.

Perhaps the Real Time host was referring to the multiple instances in which NYPD officers have turned their backs on Mayor Bill de Blasio as he spoke at funerals for policemen killed. Or maybe it’s the police union that called for officers to be protected as minorities under Congress’ hate crimes statutes.

Either way, we’re pretty sure he’ll have more to say on the subject Friday night.
