BREAKING: Charlotte Police Release Video of Keith Lamont Scott Shooting

(UPDATE BELOW) Under intense pressure from nearly every quarter, police in Charlotte, North Carolina have decided to release dash and body camera video of the police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott. The decision comes on the heels of NBC News‘ release of video that was shot by Scott’s wife, and which raised more questions than it answered.

The newly-released police videos do not conclusively show what, if anything, was in Scott’s hands, but provide the public with an opportunity to judge the video for themselves.

UPDATE –– 6:48 pm ET: The Charlotte police has finally released the videos. You can watch the bodycam and dashcam videos below:
