UPDATE – 12:21 P.M. EST The mall is reportedly still open, but nearby schools have been put on lockdown, and police are also looking into an incident at a nearby market.

UPDATE: 12:52 P.M. EST Police are still trying to determine if the two incidents are correlated, but the victim of the second shooting is now deceased.

Reports suggest that the initial shooting might have occurred after the perpetrator shot one individual in a confrontation before shooting the other two when they tried to help.

UPDATE: 1:37 P.M. EST Police are about to give a formal address to the media about what they have discovered about the case so far. NBC noted how they are likely to address reports suggesting that these two shootings might be connected to other violent incidents earlier in the week.
