California Deer Goes for a Swim in Man’s Backyard Pool

A California man discovered a deer swimming a few laps in his backyard pool over the weekend. And yes, there’s video.

Just look at this thing:

That’s a deer in a swimming pool. How is that not amazing?

Now, it wasn’t that cute when the deer jumped the fence into the pool, because it was trapped in the plastic pool covering, and the homeowner and his neighbor had to free it.

The deer swam around for about an hour, the neighbor talked to the animal and even sang to it for a bit, and then it just took off.
