Christie Gets Testy With Reporters Asking ‘Off-Topic’ Questions: ‘Permission Denied’

christieChris Christie held a press conference in New Jersey today and got pretty testy with reporters who asked him “off-topic” questions.

Christie announced his nomination for the New Jersey Supreme Court and had said ahead of time he only wanted on-topic questions. When one reporter tried to ask permission to ask an off-topic question, Christie said, “I won’t permit you to, I told you that there’s only going to be on-topic questions today, so permission denied.”

One reporter tried to ask Christie about another state issue, and Christie shot him down. When asked why not take the question, Christie said, “Because I don’t want to.”

Yet another reporter tried to question Christie about the timing of this announcement to “distract attention” from his Donald Trump endorsement. Christie dismissed that and refused to take any questions about his Trump support.

You can watch above.
