Clinton Spox: ‘We Could Have Done Better’ at Being Transparent About Her Illness
On Twitter Monday, Hillary Clinton communications director Jennifer Palmieri admitted that the campaign could have been more forthcoming about Clinton’s pneumonia diagnosis and her collapse during a 9/11 memorial event Sunday.
The comment was prompted by a tweet from former top Obama advisor and CNN analyst David Axelrod, calling out the lack of transparency from his former colleague.
Antibiotics can take care of pneumonia. What’s the cure for an unhealthy penchant for privacy that repeatedly creates unnecessary problems?

Palmieri tweeted back admitting that the situation could have been handled better, but insisted that Clinton was still the most transparent presidential candidate to date.
We could have done better yesterday, but it is a fact that public knows more about HRC than any nominee in history. https://t.co/Q50oHK85wQ
