CNN’s Alisyn Camerota: Banning Kellyanne Conway From TV is ‘Weird and, Frankly, a Little Sexist’

Things got heated last week during a chat between White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway and CNN’s Alisyn Camerota.

But in an interview on SiriusXM’s Pete Domenick Show Monday, the New Day host says she’s still “always happy to have her on.” Further, she criticized shows which have banned Conway from appearing. Further, she is accusing those who ban Conway as engaging in sexism.

“I feel as though there’s something a little weird and, frankly, a little sexist — and I rarely play that card — about banning Kellyanne,” Camerota said.

Camerota’s point was that Conway is no different any other person from President Donald Trump‘s administration who tries to, in Carmerota’s view, “spin” and control the story.

“Guess what? They all spin,” Camerota said. “She’s worse than [Press Secretary] Sean Spicer? Since when? She’s worse than the other people they put out?”
