College Student Suspended over Photo of N-Word Written on Whiteboard
A student at the University of South Carolina was suspended this week over a photo that circulated on campus showing the n-word written on a study room whiteboard.
This is the photo in question:

It’s a joke list of reasons why campus wi-fi sucks (spoiler alert: almost all campus wi-fi sucks), including the n-word at the top, “incompetent professors” and “overpopulated campus.”
The university sent out this tweet assuring an investigation is underway:
Respect for all and the @UofSCCreed are our #UofSC values. Racism and incivility are not tolerated. Situation being investigated.
— U of South Carolina (@UofSC) April 3, 2015
A student ended up being suspended over the racial slur, though it’s not clear if it’s the same student in the photo.
