Cop Jams to Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake it Off’ in Squad Car

In the most telling sign yet that “Shake It Off” has peaked as a shared cultural phenomenon and maybe needs to go back to being just a catchy song, the Dover Police Department released a video of one of its officers jamming to the song in his squad car. ( The cop in question is surprisingly game, so, you know…bully for him.)

The “series” is called Dash Cam Confessionals, and the gag is that this what the dash cam picks up when it’s not recording whatever it’s supposed to be recording. (Unarmed black teens.) At any rate, no goofy version of this song has yet redeemed its rap breakdown. Keep trying, America!

Rumors that none y’all liked TS’ country sh-t back in the day went unconfirmed at press time.
