Cruz Mulling a Possible Re-Entry Into the Presidential Race

cruzSen. Ted Cruz suspended his campaign last week, but is reportedly considering restarting his bid if he wins the Nebraska primary Tuesday.

“We launched this campaign intending to win,” he told supporter Glenn Beck in his radio show Tuesday morning. “The reason we suspended our campaign was that with the Indiana loss, I felt there was no path to victory.”

“If that changes,” he added, “we will certainly respond accordingly.”

Even if he does not re-enter the race or directly challenge Trump’s path to the nomination, Cruz’s supporters are planning to use their delegates to influence the rules committees and party platform at the Republican National Convention in July, according to the New York Times and Politico.
