Dana Perino Destroys ‘Selfish’ Omarosa Over White House Recordings: ‘Ghastly Disloyalty’
As a former White House press secretary, Dana Perino of Fox News is taking particular exception to the recordings made by Omarosa Manigault. And Monday on The Daily Breifing, the former President George W. Bush White House staffer voiced her strong disapproval.
In an interview with Fox News analyst Chris Stirewalt, Perino blasted the former White House senior staffer under President Donald Trump for the tapes which have been released on various NBC News platforms over the past 48 hours.
“I am shocked, as someone who had the privilege of working in the White House, that anyone would ever [use] a recording device,” Perino said. “Not just because of how selfish it was about her, but the damage that could do to our own national security. That’s what really gets to me.”
After Stirewalt made the comment that “no one” believed Omarosa was qualified to be in the White House, Perino seemed to take a swipe at the president.
“Well, presumably someone did,” the Fox News host said.
Perino also penned a scathing column on the Fox News website, in which she railed against Omarosa further.
“Her book will be forgotten,” Perino wrote. “Her breach of confidence and ghastly disloyalty – to the country – will not be.”
