De Blasio’s Sign Language Interpreter Makes Big Comeback at Blizzard Presser

There is a major blizzard warning throughout the northeast tonight, with emergencies declared in at least three states and expected snowfall to reach nearly three feet in some areas. Here, let Mayor Bill de Blasio‘s badass ASL interpreter tell you about it.

Making his comeback appearace from his debut at the Ebola press conference in October, de Blasio’s interpreter, with his long hair and his expressive face, is there for two purposes:

1) To help hearing-impaired viewers understand the severity of the historic blizzard, and how they can prepare adequately;

2) Ensure that the press conference goes viral, so that everyone in New York City, hearing impaired or not, will prepare for the blizzard.
