‘DEAR HANNITY… MEET HUMANITY’: Stephanie Ruhle Rips Fox Host for Mocking Her Tears Over Bush

Fox News’ Sean Hannity is known to vent his outrage at the liberal media on a routine basis during his primetime broadcast, but it appears this time he’s pushed one cable host too far.

MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle slammed the host Monday for his montage of her and other news personalities expressing sadness at the passing of President George H.W. Bush, something Hannity chalked up to crocodile tears.

“DEAR HANNITY… MEET HUMANITY,” Ruhle wrote in a Twitter post firing back at Hannity. “It is true. After watching a heart wrenching video narrated by the late Barbara Bush reading her husband’s letter about their daughter Robin who lost her battle with leukemia at age 3, I got choked up on tv@seanhannity is right Today i was a human.”

In his show that evening, Hannity trolled reporters for “seemingly forgetting about their nasty coverage — a pattern to destroy people’s names, their character when they’re alive and then create a veneer of bipartisanship and then we’ll say nice things about somebody when the person dies.”

“It’s so transparently phony,” he argued, comparing reactions to Bush’s death and that of Sen. John McCain beside an all caps headline that screamed, “TACTICS OF THE LEFT.”

“Let’s praise former President Bush who the media was never nice to. Maybe we can use that to bludgeon Trump,” he said, making fun of Ruhle’s outlet along with NBC, CBS, CNN and ABC.
