Dem Sen. McCaskill: ‘I Will Not Vote’ for Harry Reid as Senate Leader
One week after the Republicans took over the Senate through a string of midterm electoral victories, it appears as though Harry Reid‘s stature among his chamber’s Democrats is faltering.
The incoming Senate Minority Leader will likely not face a challenger for his new position, but he will face some cold shoulders and “no” votes from red state Democrats. One of those such lawmakers is Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill, who made her intentions clear on Thursday, according to several Capitol Hill reporters:
