Democratic Ad Blasts ‘Stunning Ineptitude’ of ‘Disastrous’ Obamacare Website

An ad from House Majority PAC, a Democratic organization supporting the party’s candidates in congressional races, is raising eyebrows. The ad, supporting the reelection bid of Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-AZ), focuses entirely on the Affordable Care Act and calls the federal insurance exchange website “disastrous.”

The ad quotes Kirkpatrick blasting the “stunning ineptitude” which led to the launch of the problematic website. Kirkpatrick is not running entirely from the law, however. It also touts the benefits associated with the ACA, like a provision which prevents insurers from discriminating against those with preexisting conditions.

This ad is part of a larger campaign in which House Majority PAC hopes to shore up support for Kirkpatrick and her fellow Arizona Democrat, Rep. Ron Barber.
