Democratic Congressman Al Green has been calling for President Trump’s impeachment for a few months now:
Today on the floor of the Congress of the United States of America, I will call for the Impeachment of the President between 9am & 10am CST.

He was talking about impeachment as recently as last week and, as the Washington Post reported, said last week that “he plans to introduce articles of impeachment next week and use special House procedures to bring them to a rapid floor vote.”
But following the horrific shooting in Las Vegas last night, Green announced today that “impeachment is postponed,” adding that “there is a right time for all things” and now is a time for healing:
There is a right time for all things. This is a time to mourn and a time to heal. Impeachment is postponed.
