Diner Celebrates Gay Marriage Ruling with ‘Scalia Is a Douche’ Special

 

Justice Antonin Scalia issued a fiery dissent to the Supreme Court’s gay marriage ruling, declaring the decision to be a “threat to democracy.” Scalia was, of course, roundly mocked by people happy with the ruling, and now a Philadelphia diner has gotten in on the fun.

Morning Glory Diner celebrated the ruling with two specials on its brunch menu: “The Supreme Court Finally Got It Right” Quiche, and The Antonin Scalia Is A Douche Special Scrambled.

(There was also a frittata version.)

It’s a pretty straightforward dish––scrambled eggs with sausage, veggies, cheese, etc.––but apparently it was so popular that, according to BillyPenn, it sold out pretty quickly.
