Dirty Sexy Politics: Meghan McCain Has ‘Conflicted Feelings About Sarah Palin’

Meghan McCain‘s new book Dirty Sexy Politics is out today, and to promote its release the daughter of Senator John McCain appeared on Good Morning America to share some of the book’s dish about Sarah Palin, her daughter Bristol and even her White House visit with former first lady Laura Bush (Spoiler alert: there was no setting for her at lunch and had to leave with a doggie bag!)

In speaking about her new book with host George Stephanopoulos, McCain spoke for first time since the 2008 Presidential campaign of her father about Sarah Palin (of whom she has “conflicted feelings”) and the campaign circus of which she had a very unique perspective.

In the interview its clear that Stephanopoulos was most interested in extracting some juicy dirt from McCain on Palin, but Meghan was steadfast in taking the high road, and felt it important to remind viewers that the book was “not just about Sarah Palin.”
