Environmental Activists Vandalize Trump Golf Course By Carving Large Message Into Green
A group of environmental activists vandalized one of President Donald Trump‘s golf courses in California over the weekend.
According to KABC in Los Angeles, five protestors hopped a fence at Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. Using various garden tools, the protestors then carved six foot letters on the fifth green, which was chosen, according to a protestor, because it was the most “picturesque” hole on the course.
Their message read: No more tigers, no more woods.
KABC spoke to a protestor, and granted them anonymity.
‘”It’s a protest piece against Trump’s administration’s handling of our environmental policies,” the protestor said. “They’ve been very aggressive in gutting a lot of the policies that we’ve had in place for a very long time. We felt it necessary to stand up and go take action against him.”
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is reportedly looking into the incident.
