‘F*** That Guy’: New Report Says Disdain for Kaepernick Runs Deep Among NFL Team Execs

That quote, from an unnamed NFL team executive, apparently summarizes the current thoughts of front office personnel around the league on San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, following his National Anthem protest.

A story on Bleacher Report written by Mike Freeman featured an informal survey of seven NFL team executives. All said they did not want Kaepernick on their team. And all seven estimated that “90 to 95 percent of NFL front offices felt the same way.”

“I don’t want him anywhere near my team,” one executive told Freeman. “He’s a traitor.”

Freeman wrote that one of the executives said he’d consider quitting if an owner wanted him to sign Kaepernick.

All seven executives polled by Freeman believe the 49ers will soon release the quarterback, and that he will never play in the league again.

“In my career, I have never seen a guy so hated by front office guys as Kaepernick,” one general manager told Freeman.
