First iPhone 6 Customer Accidentally Drops It on Live TV

Lesson learned: Don’t get too excited to handle your new iPhone in public.

Jack Cooksey was the first man in Perth, Australia, to purchase an iPhone 6 this morning and when he we went to show the device off to Channel 9’s Today show outside the store, he found himself getting booed by the crowd because, well, he dropped the phone.

“Holy shit!” someone screamed off-camera.

“I saw it hit the floor, and I was like ‘Oh, no, no,no,no’,” he later told reporters. But luckily for him, iPhones are made to withstand falls such as that one. Though it’s not recommended you drop it that way repeatedly.
