Florida Democrats Warn People Not to Listen to Vanilla Ice on Hurricane Matthew
For God’s sake, people, don’t get your hurricane advice from Vanilla Ice.
At least, that’s what the official Twitter account for the Florida Democrats sent out after the Iceman said he would be trying to ride out Hurricane Matthew:
This hurricane is serious and coming right at me. I'm going to ride out the storm. I'll keep you updated pic.twitter.com/LQGzAFY9O8

This hurricane is going to be serious, and it's coming right at me. I am going to ride it out. https://t.co/QEEojOIGEf

Right now things are pretty calm, but you know what that means, the calm before the storm. The entire Florida Georgia and Carolina Coast

Riders on the storm. I am right on the ocean in Palm Beach looking at evil darkness sky coming with the hurricane

Which led to this:
We advise listening to your local officials, not @vanillaice. If you are in an evacuation zone, you should leave now. #HurricaneMatthew https://t.co/Xt1XkH4ftk

We would also be remiss if we didn’t share this perfect tweet:
Stop.
Evacuate and listen. https://t.co/x9X599sTHA— Lizzie O'Leary (@lizzieohreally) October 6, 2016
