Former Clinton Aide Lashes Holder: ‘Politically Brain-Dead’ To Label Fox Reporter ‘Co-Conspirator’

Appearing on WOR 710 radio this morning, Lanny Davis, former special counsel to President Bill Clinton, said that Attorney General Eric Holder‘s labeling of Fox News reporter James Rosen a “co-conspirator” was a “politically brain-dead” move.

Speaking with host John Gambling, Davis explained that while he “admires” his “friend” Holder, he finds the decision to label Rosen a “co-conspirator” in order to subpoena his private information a “stupid” one.

He continued: “If you name him as a co-conspirator it gives you certain legal advantages, but it just is press and politically brain-dead to name a reporter a co-conspirator.” Davis suggested that Holder likely now realizes the err of his ways, having reportedly expressed “remorse” over the ordeal.
