Fox News Correspondent Courtney Friel Victim of Cop Stalker

A police officer in California has been accused of using “law enforcement databases to meet women, investigate romantic rivals and keep tabs on ex-girlfriends,” and Mediaite has learned one of the “more than 4,000 names” he searched was Fox News entertainment reporter Courtney Friel.

Reports have noted the list includes, “A blond Fox news correspondent, a woman from a gym class, a mother from his daughter’s kindergarten class, his ex-wife and ex-girlfriends as well as the new men in their lives.”

Prior to joining Fox News, Friel was an anchor and reporter for KPSP-TV in Palm Springs, CA.

KTLA reports the officer, “is still employed and paid by the Westminster Police Department. He has been given an ‘intent to terminate’ notice which, officials say, is the start of a disciplinary procedure required by law for his dismissal.”
