Freshly Indicted Roger Stone is Fundraising Off of His Pre-Dawn FBI Raid
Republican political operative and ‘dirty trickster‘ Roger Stone — who was just indicted and arrested by the FBI on seven counts including obstruction of an official proceeding, witness tampering and making false statements — is already using the spectacle of Friday morning’s pre-dawn raid to fundraise for his upcoming legal defense.
Within hours of Stone’s arrest, his staff posted on Instagram that “Mueller’s early morning raid was straight out of the gestapo’s playbook” along with a photo that plays off the 1988 fantasy comedy “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”.
Stone’s staff called developments this morning “deeply saddening” and publicly solicited support for Stone, writing, “We must fight for Roger Stone… now more than ever. If they can do this to Roger… they are coming for us next!”
The message invites viewers to a website where they can show their support for Stone and raise money for his legal defense fund.
