Gifts, Donations Flood in for Student Who Stopped Seattle Pacific Shooting
Jon Meis is the brave college student who stepped in to stop the Seattle Pacific University shooter with pepper spray, and his heroism has not gone unnoticed. As it turns out, Meis is getting married soon, and grateful people by the score have been buying gifts on his registry and raising money for him to show their appreciation.
Meis and his fiancé Kayle are registered at Target and Crate & Barrel , and, well, people responded quickly.

In addition, one ESPN Seattle producer wanted to thank Meis as well, and so she set up a campaign online to raise money for him and not only did the crowdfunding campaign hit its target, it surpassed it. By a lot.
